Problem: Unable to modify past/current/future date schedules

Problem: Unable to modify past/current/future date schedules

Problem:
User is getting below warning pop-up when retrieving "Individual Schedules/Schedule Management" screen for future date and unable to modify/update schedules:
"Schedules may not be modified for this date in the future. Any modifications you make may not be saved."

Analysis:
Warning pop-up will appear when the user is retrieving schedules for a date that which is greater than the effective permissions set for "Future days" field in User and Permissions >> Schedule Permissions >> Schedule modifications.

Solution:
Update the value as per the business requirement for Past days, Current day or Future days.

  1. Past days
In the Permissions column, you can enter the number of past days to allow the user or role to modify schedules. You can enter a maximum number of past days up to the customer defined value for editing prior schedule days. You can also enter all to allow the user or role to modify schedules for all past schedules up to the customer defined value. If any part of a schedule exists before the current day, the selected user or users assigned to the role can modify the schedule. The system prevents you from entering a value greater than the customer defined value. To restrict a user or role from modifying schedules on past days, enter 0 for the number of past days.
  1. Current day
In the Permissions column, select Yes or No to specify whether the user or role can modify schedules for the current day. When you select Yes, if any part of a schedule exists in the current day, the selected user or users assigned to the role can modify the schedule. To restrict a user or role from modifying schedules in the current day, select No.
  1. Future days
In the Permissions column, enter the number of future days to allow the user or role to modify schedules. The maximum number of future days defaults to 192, or the maximum entered in MAXFUTSCHEDEDITDAYS of R_CONFIG table. Contact BrightContact Support Team to change the maximum value (up to 550). You can also enter all to allow the user or role to modify schedules for all future schedules up to the maximum. If any part of a schedule exists after the current day, the selected user or users assigned to the role can modify the schedule. To restrict a user or role from modifying schedules on future days, enter 0 for the number of future days.
